Hazlemere Sports Association

Our main goal is to promote and develop sporting recreational activity in Hazlemere. Our sports member clubs are all based at Hazlemere Recreation Ground.

If you are keen to play sport in Hazlemere, please click on any of the links shown opposite or above. We offer a wide range of sports to suit all age groups and are determined to grow these to serve the wider needs of our community.

You will find many references on this website to the Ken Williams Memorial Pavilion, the former home to all of the sports clubs within Hazlemere Sports Association. Sadly our sports clubs didn’t have a base to entertain visiting teams for the past 2 years, following a long running dispute. However, we have some welcome good news – please see below:

Latest news (last updated 18.05.17):

Hazlemere Sports FC, one of our member clubs, has been granted a club premises certificate by our local Licensing Officer. This allows them to operate a bar at weekends (including some Friday evenings) in the club room at our former sports pavilion. A hire agreement has been agreed with the Hazlemere Memorial Hall CIO Trustees and the bar is now open to members and their guests.

Volunteers from Holy Trinity Juniors FC are once again providing a tea-bar facility during the football season from the 1st floor club room area which will be open from 9.15am to 12.00pm. Access to the 1st floor servery area is via the external staircase adjacent to the tennis courts. Please ensure that you use the orange fenced-off pathway to access the steps to avoid mud being left on the normal pathway to the tennis courts used by tennis club members. This should avoid mud getting onto the tennis courts.

We would particularly like to thank 2 of the CIO Trustees, Phil Oldcorn and Andy Baldwin, who have been instrumental in helping to break down some of the previous obstacles to progress. Hopefully some of the past difficulties can now be put aside and we can all move forward and enjoy the facilities that were always intended for the wider Hazlemere community.
