Our member clubs hold regular social events, details of which can usually be found below. Our popular quarterly general knowledge quiz night and occasional race nights have had to be discontinued, now that we no longer have a sports pavilion to hold them in.

  • Saturday, 4th of July, 2015

A charity event worthy of plenty of support is taking place on Saturday 4th July at Hazlemere Recreation Ground.

Organised by several of our HSA members, there will be a 12-hour football match taking place between 8am and 8pm and you can either play in this or just come along to support the event. All proceeds are going to the Beating Bowel Cancer charity in memory of the late Steve Smith.

    Smiffy's FFD 2015

Many of you will have known Steve, many of you will not have.  Steve was part of the first ever HT Juniors sides when just a handful of children played at the C of E school.  At the age of 15 he was then part of the first Hazlemere Sports FC adult side.  He played for the club every season.  He became an integral part of the team and could be seen regularly behind the bar (see picture below) as well as being club treasurer.

Following being diagnosed with terminal bowel cancer, Steve sadly passed away in June 2013.  He had begun to arrange a 12 hour football match to raise money for beating bowel cancer.

With the help of his friends and family an annual Smiffy’s Football Fun Day is held at the rec.  This year’s event will take place on the 4th July.

For more information or to book a slot, please click on the flyer above or email Sean Day  at

Please lend your support and be part of this special day.

RIP Steve Smith A truly great guy.
